SPEAKERS | Ramon Alikpala

Ramon Alikpala has been involved in the water sector in various capacities.
He was Executive Director of the National Water Board, Chairman of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), Chairman of the ASEAN Working Group on Water Resources Management and an international steering committee member of the Global Water Partnership in Stockholm, Sweden.
He advocates for the establishment of more river basins in the country as well as the creation of a single economic regulator for the sector.
He is currently working on the NEDA Philippine Water Supply and Sanitation Master Plan and the USAID-funded rehabilitation of Marwawi City’s water system.
Mr. Alikpala holds a MBA in Finance from Fordham University and BS in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines.
