The Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), Inc. was founded November 17, 1945 to elevate the levels of standard of contracting business with the view of protecting the public from unscrupulous and unreliable constructors.  It was then legally incorporated as a non-profit organization on November 29, 1945 by a group of builders comprising of certified architects, engineers and prominent  men in the construction industry.
